This chess set was the personal Wizard's Chess set of Jacob's sibling, which was given to them by Professor McGonagall.
History[]
The Chess set came into the possession of Professor McGonagall some time before or during the 1980s.
During the Teacher Appreciation Celebration, Professor McGonagall played chess with Jacob's sibling, who was interviewing her so they could give a presentation to the school. After they had given the presentation, Professor McGonagall gifted them this chess set from her personal collection as thanks for making such a great presentation.[1]
When Jacob's sibling was training for and participating in the Walter Aragon Wizard Chess Competition, they used this chess set.[2]
