This candle was specially enchanted to burn forever.[1]
History[]
This candle was created at some point before the 1986–1987 school year. That year, Albus Dumbledore gave it to Jacob's sibling as thanks for them defeating the Boggart in Hogsmeade, protecting themselves and the inhabitants of Hogsmeade, and being honest about their experiences when questioned.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The candle's everlasting flame is similar in nature to Gubraithian Fire, suggesting the two may be related.
Appearances[]
