This photograph featured the Hogwarts Castle during a sunrise and was taken by James Potter during his school years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was given to Chiara Lobosca by Remus Lupin, and was eventually kept by Jacob's sibling.[1]
History[]
James Potter took this photo during his years in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and gave it to his good friend Remus Lupin. After Lupin graduated from Hogwarts, a then werewolf student, Chiara Lobosca, constantly shared her Wolfsbane Potion with him. He gave her this photo as a reminder that the difficult nights would always pass.[1]
An accident supposedly involving a werewolf attack occurred in Hogwarts during the 1985–1986 school year, which Chiara investigated with Jacob's sibling. It later turned out that the Potion Chiara gave to Lupin had actually been all Chiara had had, which explained why Chiara had been suspicious that she might have initiated the attack, since she had had no choice but to transform when a full moon had occurred. Though the attacker was eventually identified to be a Hippogriff,[2] Chiara transformed again in front of Jacob's sibling during the next full moon and attempted to attack them. During the fight, the photo fell out of her clothes. Jacob's sibling picked it up after the duel, and met up with Chiara the next day to return it, but she let them keep it in their dormitory.[1]
