A junior minister was a low-ranking political role in both British Muggle and wizarding politics, answerable and accountable to the Head of Department in which they worked for.
Known junior ministers[]
- Cornelius Fudge, who was a junior minister for the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes in 1981.[1]
- Herbert Chorley, a junior minister for the Muggle government. In 1996, he fell under a botched Imperius Curse and began acting like a duck. He was sent to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries for recovery.[2]
