Juniper Hunt was a Muggle-born witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where she was Sorted into Hufflepuff House.

Biography

Hogwarts years (1986-)

Before the beginning of the 1986–1987 school year, Jacob's sibling was tasked to guide Juniper, Virgil Fowler, and Rhys Maybury around Diagon Alley to purchase their school supplies and board the Hogwarts Express in time for the Sorting Ceremony. They met Juniper along with the other students in King's Cross Station, where they introduced themselves and informed them of what would be happening, before taking them to the Leaky Cauldron for breakfast. Whilst there, Juniper was nervous about not fitting in with the other students. She was intrigued by Rhys's pet Puffskein, Floofy, and helped look for it after it ran off.

When they went off to Diagon Alley to buy their school supplies, Juniper needed everything, including a wand, so they went to Ollivanders and eventually picked out a wand for her, then went to Flourish and Blotts to buy books. Whilst there, they purchased other school supplies such as brass scales and pets. Juniper wanted a pet, but didn't want to get a cat since her father was allergic to them and didn't like the idea of a toad so bought an owl instead so she could communicate with her father.

They prepared to board the Hogwarts Express, but Virgil realised he had misplaced his copy of A History of Magic. As Jacob's sibling and Virgil ran off to find it, Juniper and Rhys made sure their luggage was boarded onto the train. Jacob's sibling and Virgil eventually made it back to the train, and Jacob's sibling answered questions the group had, before seeing them sorted. Juniper was sorted, and met with Jacob's sibling in the days afterwards to thank them.

• Wand: She purchased a wand from Ollivanders before her first year. It was 10 inches, made of willow with a unicorn hair core.
• Owl: She owned an owl which she used to communicate with her father.
