Kettleburn's Classification of Chompers was an internal Hogwarts guide written by former Care of Magical Creatures professor Silvanus Kettleburn prior to 1993[2] concerning magical creatures that should be avoided by Hogwarts students.[1]

During his time as Care of Magical Creatures professor at Hogwarts, Kettleburn published this guide to detail magical creatures that should be avoided by Hogwarts students, including Hippogriffs. A Calamity Investigator working for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force reviewed a dog-eared copy of this guide, helping to increase their chances of returning Care of Magical Creatures Traces.[1]
