Khanna Farms[citation needed] was a tree farm in Great Britain that was owned and operated by the Khanna family. They grew trees that were harvested to supply wood for making wands and broomsticks. Bowtruckles also lived in the wand trees.[1] The farm also had a rare wand wood tree on its grounds.[2]
History[]
Khanna farms was established some time before Rowan Khanna's birth in December 1972. Rowan grew up around the farm, but didn't like being asked to work on the farm so spent most of his time indoors, reading books.[3]
During the 1980s or 1990, the Khanna farm's rare wand wood tree was threatened by illegal loggers and a Bowtruckle from the Magical Creatures Reserve was sent to help protect it.[2]
Known trees grown[]
Behind the scenes[]
- Based on the native range of the Bowtruckle given in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, it seems likely that the farm was located in England.
