Kneil was a Kneazle owned by Murphy McNully.

Biography

A book which Murphy carried with him had pictures of Kneil in it, and Murphy stated that the probability of a specific page being a picture of Kneil was 19.2%. Murphy also compared Kneil to a female Kneazle brought to the Quidditch Changing Rooms by Orion Amari, stating that the other Kneazle was not as clever as Kneil.

Kneil having coughed up the Golden Snitch of Hogsmeade

In the 1987–1988 school year, whilst Murphy was showing Jacob's sibling, one of their teammates, and Badger Picklish III the legendary Golden Snitch of Hogsmeade on the Hogwarts Quidditch pitch, Kneil climbed up onto Murphy's lap and took the Golden Snitch from him after he shook it, swallowing it, causing him to start flying around the ground erratically due to the Snitch being inside him. Jacob's sibling caught him on the Training Grounds, and with the help of Orion Amari and Skye Parkin, the three of them used Parkin's Pincer to catch him in the air, with Kneil coughing up the Snitch afterwards on the ground.
