The Legal Section was an unpopular area in the Hogwarts Library. The books within this section discussed Wizarding laws and, among a series of obscure titles, one could find a book on Hippogriff-baiting.[1]
History[]
In their third year, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger hoped they would find information on hippogriff-baiting that would help Hagrid at Buckbeak's hearing.[1] In 1993 it had an infestation of Imps. A Draconifors-dragon statue could also be found here.[1]
