- "I found some sucked-on lemons in a paper bag marked "Lunch". Might have known."
- — Ronald Weasley searching Severus Snape's private stores[src]
A lemon is a yellow fruit with juice that is very acidic and very high in Vitamin C.
There were also numerous wizard and Muggle sweets and confections that were lemon-flavoured, such as sherbet lemon[1] and lemon ice pop[2] and lemon meringue pie.[3]
Severus Snape enjoyed sucking on lemons for lunch. During the 1992–1993 school year, Ron Weasley found some sucked lemons in a paper bag in Snape's private storeroom and was not surprised by this, a sarcastic comment relating to Snape's sour personality.[4]
The Luchino Caffe served a lemon drizzle cake.[5]
