Lemonade is a drink made or flavoured with lemons. Lemonade is served at the Three Broomsticks Inn in Hogsmeade, as well as a lemonade flavoured iced tea.[1] The Leaky Cauldron served a more exotic variant of the beverage called exploding lemonade, which was potentially hazardous to the drinker's health, due to its explosive nature.
Behind the scenes[]
- In Great Britain, lemonade is a term used to refer to a carbonated lemon-flavoured beverage that is commercially produced. In the United States of America, however, lemonade is a typically homemade drink made with lemons, water, and sugar. As the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is an American theme park, it is the American version of lemonade which is served at its Three Broomsticks.
- The Portuguese version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone mistranslates sherbet lemon as limonada, the Portuguese word for lemonade.
