Career
Leslie Samuel Phillips OBE, was born on April 20, 1924 in Tottenham, London, England. He attended the Italia Conti School and received elocution lessons to lose his cockney accent (at the time most British actors spoke with a polished British accent) He has appeared in countless films and television shows including: Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Longest Day and Doctor in Trouble.
