A light bulb is an electric light.[2]
Light bulbs were among the muggle inventions used by wizards, and were covered in seventh year Muggle Studies classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the 1990–1991 school year.[1]
Behind the scenes
- It seems unusual that light bulbs were used by wizardkind, as most wizards did not use electricity, and its use by muggles was also covered in Muggle Studies. Though it is possible that the electricity was replaced with magic.
