Lionel Wigram is an English writer and producer, who worked as a producer on several films in both the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series.[1]
Biograpgy[]
He was born in London on 22 December 1962, and attended the University of Oxford. At Oxford, he co-founded the Oxford film company, Oxford Film Foundation.[2]
Having garnered a large name in the British film world, he became the senior vice president of production at Warner Bros. There he was asked to be the one to purchase the Harry Potter (book series) for Warner and over-see the production of the Harry Potter (film series) and Fantastic Beasts (film series).[2]
He was named after his grandfather, Lionel Wigram, who died a war hero during WWII.[citation needed]
