This little known lethal poison was used to kill Hepzibah Smith.[1]

The British Ministry of Magic assumed that Hepzibah's house-elf Hokey did it, her old age causing her to mistake the poison for sugar when making her mistress's evening cocoa. However, it was actually Tom Riddle's doing, two days after his last meeting with the elder witch, so he could steal Salazar Slytherin's Locket and Helga Hufflepuff's Cup, which were in Hepzibah's possession, while implanting a false memory into the elf to frame her.[1]
