Mrs Tuttle was a Somali-British witch and a Seer. She had at least two daughters, Lana and Liz, who did not inherit her gift, to her disappointment.[2]
Biography[]
At some point in her early life, she lived in Somalia and was home-schooled in magic by her parents.[3]
In her youth, Liz was taught astrology by her mother; after this, Liz "[would] never trust Mercury again".[4] When Liz started her third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her mother forced her to take Divination as an elective.[5]
Magical abilities and skills[]
- Divination: Liz Tuttle's mother was a Seer, meaning she was naturally gifted with the Inner Eye and could receive genuine visions of the future.[2] She was also well-versed in astrology.[4]
- Wandless magic: Accoding to Liz, her mother was capable of performing wandless magic, which her parents taught her how to do in Somalia.[6]
