"Is this all real? Or has this been happening inside my head?"
The topic of this article is of a real-life subject that has been mentioned "in-universe" in a canon source. The Harry Potter Wiki is written from the perspective that all information presented in canon is true (e.g., Hogwarts really existed), and, as such, details contained in this article may differ from real world facts. |
The London Pavilion was a pavilion that hosted many semi-permanent events located in Shaftesbury Avenue. By the time Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley walked passed it while visiting the road in August of 1997, it hosted a Ripley's Believe It or Not![1]
Behind the scenes[]
- The Pavilion really did host the Ripley's museum event, which was there in 2009–2010, when the two Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films took place. The Ripley's closed down in 2018 however, to make way for a Body Worlds, so it's presumed this was when the in-canon Ripley's was shuttered as well.
- In the video game adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, it also makes an appearance, but belongs to an unidentified company.
