The Lookout Tower was one of the four towers surrounding The Quad. It overlooked the Stone Bridge and strongly resembled the Astronomy Tower. The first floor landing of the tower connected the first-floor corridor to the Stone Bridge.
It was located around the Quad, along with the Grand Staircase Tower, the Gryffindor Tower and the North Tower. Also, the Stone Bridge connected it to the Viaduct Entrance, on the first floor.[1] It was connected to the Octagon Tower by a bridge.[2]
A staircase led from the ground level of this tower to the dungeon level of this tower. The staircase was accessed from The Quad and served as the entrance to the Entrance Dungeon.
