- "I do know the last of a long dynasty of Graphorns nearby. They call him the 'Lord of the Shore'."
- — Eleazar Fig[src]
The Lord of the Shore was a Graphorn. By adulthood, he was the last of a long line of Graphorns. Unusually large and strong, he inhabited Clagmar Coast in isolation, under the constant threat of poaching from the countless poachers who scouted the area.[1]
Biography[]
In 1891, he was successfully subdued by the new fifth-year student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who was on the trial of San Bakar to further unlock their ancient magical abilities. After a perilous duel, the Lord of the Shore submitted to the student, recognising their strength and need for aid. He helped the student in opening the entrance of San Bakar's Pensieve chamber before entering their nab-sack, thus becoming one of their mounts.[1]
