History[]
During the 1990–1991 school year, after Professor Flitwick was cured of the laughing curse in the Muggle Studies Classroom, Professor Sikander told Corey Hayden and Jacob's sibling that he would be taking Flitwick to see Madam Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing for a lozenge to soothe his throat.[1] Healer Miriam Strout also treated the patients affected by the curse at St Mungo's with fortifying broth and lozenges.[1]
