Luke Thallon (born 14 April 1996) is an English theatre actor who was cast to portray Quirinus Quirrell in the Harry Potter television series.[1][2]
Personal life[]
Thallon was born in West Byfleet, Surrey, and comes from a diverse background, with Polish heritage on his father's side and German and Irish roots from his mother's side. Both of his parents were professional volleyball players, which surrounded him with discipline and athleticism from a young age. Despite this sporty upbringing, Thallon initially had ambitions outside of the arts and once aspired to become a dentist.[3]
However, his path eventually led him to the performing arts. He pursued formal training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he graduated in 2017.[3]
