A luminous pumpkin was a magical pumpkin that glowed, cultivated by the wizard Dagbert Pips, sold in his shop Pumpkins R Us, which were sold to wizards for the Hallowe'en season.[1]
History[]
In the 1990s, Pips wrote to the Daily Prophet expressing his dismay over proposed British Ministry of Magic restrictions on how wizards could celebrate Hallowe'en, saying that he had spent the last five years cultivating his magical pumpkins for a living.[1]
