The MACUSA Communications Department was a department of the Magical Congress of the United States of America that was responsible for regulating and maintaining systems of magical communications and related services at MACUSA.

The MACUSA Communications Department filled rat memos and their usage which were governed under the department's code of conduct.[1] The department was in charge of the dissemination of information to the wizarding populace that the MACUSA deemed necessary, such as changes made to the procedures pertaining to the acquisition of Alien Wand Permit Applications.[1]
