Magenta Comstock (1895–1991) was a witch and experimental artist, whose portraits' eyes not only followed the viewer around the room, but also followed them home.

Biography

Early life

Magenta Comstock was born in 1895 to parents of unknown blood status.

She became an artist and began experimenting with her artwork. Her portraits were known for their staring eyes which would often follow viewers home.

She was on a Chocolate Frog Card by 1988.

At some time before or during the 1988–1989 school year, a book entitled Collected Artwork by Magenta Comstock was published and she founded the Magenta Comstock Young Witch and Wizard Artist Awards.

Death

Comstock died in 1991 at the age of 96.
