McHavelock's Wizarding Headgear was a wizarding shop that specialised in hats and wigs in Hogsmeade. It was established in 1867[1] and was next door to Zonko's Joke Shop.[2]
For unknown reason, it was also located in Knockturn Alley next to Borgin and Burkes indicating that it might've been a successful business.
Etymology[]
- "McHavelock" may derive from "Mc" (Welsh), which means "the son of", and "Havelock" (english), which means "a light cloth covering for a military cap, falling over the back of the neck for protection against the sun".
