History[]
Native American wizards sometimes became medicine men and attained positions of great respect within their tribes. However, No-Majs also served as medicine men, sometimes feigning magical powers to do so. These unscrupulous No-Maj medicine men spread malicious rumours about Animagi in an attempt to prevent themselves from being exposed.[1]
