Metrofloo at Place Cachée, linking to the British Ministry of Magic headquarters
Metrofloo, known in French as Métro-Floo, was a wizarding mass transit that allowed wizards to go from one place to another via the Floo Network. The transit was used by the British Ministry of Magic.[1]
History[]
In August 1995, when Harry Potter first visited the British Ministry of Magic, he saw a bunch of witches and wizards emerging from the Ministry fireplaces.[2] In 1997, after the fall of the British Ministry of Magic, stalls in the Whitehall underground public toilets were linked to the Ministry fireplaces. Since then, several high-ranking Ministry officials had used this new Metrofloo link for their commute, likely until Lord Voldemort's death.[3]
