Biography[]
She became engaged to Jacob Kowalski at some point in 1926. However on 6 December that year, she left him after he returned from Steen National Bank without a loan to open his bakery, taking off her engagement ring in the streets of New York.[1]
Physical appearance[]
Mildred in late 1926 was an attractive young woman with blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin.[1]
Personality and traits[]
While little is known about Mildred's personality, it can be assumed she was somewhat money-oriented and selfish, given that she immediately broke off her engagement with Jacob when he failed to secure a bank loan.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- Mildred was portrayed by Sinead Matthews in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.[2] Her role was cut from the final version, but her scenes were included in the film's deleted scenes.
- The scene had Jacob returning from the bank to 435 Rivington Street to find his fiancée waiting for him. Mildred runs to Jacob and asks how did it go and if he got the loan. He says that the bank did not give it to him, and she takes off their engagement ring and leaves him.[3]
