History

Minerva McGonagall lived in this bedroom after joining the Transfiguration department during her employment at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but she moved out to live in a cottage in Hogsmeade with her husband, Elphinstone Urquart, in 1982. When Urquhart died three years later, McGonagall moved back into this bedroom.
