This Quidditch match was played between Gryffindor and Slytherin in the seventh year of Minerva McGonagall. She had a nasty fall during the match, leaving her with a concussion, several broken ribs, and a lifelong desire to see Slytherin crushed on the Quidditch pitch. The match decided the Quidditch Cup winner.[1]

- During the "A Special Celebration of Hogwarts Teachers" adventure in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Madam Hooch tells the player about an infamous Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin that injured McGonagall and left her with a lifelong desire to see Slytherin crushed on the Quidditch pitch. It's almost certain that she is talking about this particular match.
