This mirror was a smaller version of the Mirror of Erised that was given to Jacob's sibling by Albus Dumbledore in the 1987–1988 school year at Hogwarts. Dumbledore gifted it to them in his office after they returned the Mirror of Erised to him as a reward. Despite not possessing any of the Mirror of Erised's magical powers, it served to remind them of their time spent with the mirror.[1]
