- "Attempted to pass a bill making it illegal to marry a Muggle. Misread the public mood; the wizarding community, tired of anti-Muggle sentiment and wanting peace, voted him out at the first opportunity."
- — Description[src]
This Ministry Bill[1] was proposed by Minister Perseus Parkinson, aimed at making it illegal for a witch or wizard to marry a Muggle within Great Britain. As the British wizarding population had moved on from anti-Muggle sentiment, it was considered controversial and denied, leading to Perseus being voted out at the first opportunity.[2]
