The Ministry of Magic Public Information Services was an office in the British Ministry of Magic in charge of the dissemination of information to the wizarding populace that the Ministry deemed necessary. The improvement of these Services was among the policies that would best serve the Ministry in its fight against the Dark Arts, and as such, the Protecting Your Home and Family Against Dark Forces pamphlet was probably this office's responsibility.[1]
