A Travel Permit was an official document issued by the British Ministry of Magic to members of the wizarding community of Great Britain, denoting their permission by the local wizarding governing body to leave the United Kingdom. The application has the name of the applicant, nationality, reason for travel, address, date of birth, profession or occupation, Ministry of Magic ID Number, eye colour, hair colour, height, weight, and complexion. The Ministry of Magic ID Number required the witch or wizard to have a valid Ministry of Magic Identity Card at the time of the application and, if required, a Muggle passport.[1]
