- "He's using this thing called mnemonics to memorise different spells!"
- — Jacob's sibling[src]
A mnemonic was a learning method to help people remember more complex topics by associating them with things that were simpler to understand.[1]
History[]
During the 1990–1991 school year, Jacob's sibling claimed that Barnaby Lee was using a mnemonic to memorise spells when Argus Filch questioned what they, Barnaby, and Ismelda Murk were doing outside the One-Eyed Witch Passage.[2]
