- "Welcome, class! Today I have a special surprise for you... a new car! That's right, you're going to get a model car to study during today's lesson on Muggle transportation! You get a model car, and you get a model car. Everyone gets a model car for the duration of the class!"

A model car[1] was a toy model of car, a Muggle motor vehicle.[1]
History[]
During the 1990–1991 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Professor Arif Sikander gave each of his seventh-year students a model car to study in Muggle Studies, while he was teaching them about cars.[1]
The Aviatomobile was a burgundy model car which was presumably bewitched to fly. They were sold at Fred and George Weasley's shop in Diagon Alley, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.[2] It was most likely inspired by a similar, full-sized car enchanted by their father.
