The nine biological siblings of Modesty Barebone lived with her and their mother and father in a tenement in the the Bronx in the 1910s and/or 1920s.[1] However, Modesty was put up for adoption and adopted by Mary Lou Barebone, a No-Maj anti-witchcraft activist, possibly because the family had more children than they could care for, causing her seperation from her siblings.[1] Afterward, Modesty missed her brothers and sisters, and would talk about them to her adoptive brother Credence.[1]
Modesty's fate after the death of her adoptive mother is unknown, but it is possible that she returned to her biological family.
