Morrow was a female Demiguise who escaped from a poacher's trap on her own and hid inside the Shrieking Shack.[1]
Biography[]
When a Muggle-born Hogwarts student became aware of the return of Dragonologist Long Shouren, they went looking for him. The student tricked Professor Rubeus Hagrid into revealing that he was hiding in the Shrieking Shack. The student found a Demiguise inside the shack, but Shouren wasn't there. They figured out that he was in Borgin and Burkes and went to the shop to find him. Later, the student found the Demiguise again and named her Morrow, taking her to Hagrid to receive proper care.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- In Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, the story splits in two different ways after finding the Demiguise. In one version, the student acts rashly and gets involved in a showdown between Shouren and Auror Ewan Ward, with the latter taking them back to Hogwarts and the student encountering and naming the Demiguise outside the Viaduct. In the other version, the student hides with Shouren in a Vanishing Cabinet before the Aurors arrive, they return to the Shrieking Shack with him and name the Demiguise there instead.
