- Horace Slughorn: "Granger? Granger? Can you possibly be related to Hector Dagworth-Granger, who founded the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers?"
- Hermione Granger: "No. I don’t think so, sir. I'm Muggle-born, you see."
- — Horace Slughorn asking Hermione Granger about her heritage[src]
The Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers was presumably an organisation for highly-talented potioneers. It was founded by Hector Dagworth-Granger.[1]
History[]
During the Calamity in the late 2010s or early 2020s, the Most Extraordinary Society of Potioneers noticed that a Calamity Investigator working for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force had been skillfully discovering potion ingredients in the wild, leading to the organisation granting the investigator their highest honour: the title of "Principal Plucker."[2]
