"Today we shall be setting aside our crystal balls and tea cups in favour of a furrier method. To the untrained eye, the movements of mice and rats may seem entirely random. In fact, their behaviour is rife with omen and portent for those willing to look. Our whiskered friends have much to tell us, if we only open our eyes."
Sybill Trelawney's description of Myomancy[src]

Myomancy was a form of divination that involved rats and mice.[1][2][3] Marcus Minugius Myomancer, a shop in Diagon Alley presumably owned or founded by Marcus Minugius, apparently offers myomancy readings and/or supplies.[2]

During the 1989–1990 school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Professor Sybill Trelawney taught her sixth year students about Myomancy in Divination class.[3]
