A nab-sack was a magical object which could be used to store magical beasts and creatures.[1]
History[]
Deek owned one of these, and gave it to the new fifth-year Hogwarts student in the 1890–1891 school year, who was known to have used it prolifically throughout the late 19th century. This student's nab-sack had the added bonus of transporting rescued beasts and creatures to the vivarium in the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts Castle.[1]
An unidentified Dark wizard also owned a nab-sack in the same year, which he used to hold a Niffler. He brought the nab-sack to a Dark witch and attempted to show the Niffler to her, but it slipped out unnoticed and scratched her.[2]
