A nab-sack was a magical object which could be used to store magical beasts and creatures.[1]
History[]
Deek owned one of these, and gave it to the new fifth-year Hogwarts student in the 1890–1891 school year, who was known to have used it prolifically throughout the late 19th century. This student's nab-sack had the added bonus of transporting rescued beasts and creatures to the vivarium in the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts Castle. As it was capable of holding beasts far larger than itself, it likely it had an Extension Charm.[1]
An unidentified Dark wizard also owned a nab-sack in the same year, which he used to hold a Niffler. He brought the nab-sack to a Dark witch and attempted to show the Niffler to her, but it slipped out unnoticed and scratched her.[2]
