The National Gobstone Association was an wizarding association dedicated to promoting the game of Gobstones. It hosted the Gobstones World Championship, of which Kevin Hopwood was the champion.[1]
The association had tried earnestly to bring the game to greater popularity, but with little success. Its recruitment campaign, "Give Gobstones A Second Glance", featured a poster with an accompanying picture of Hopwood being squirted with an eyeful of gunk, which may have been done more to drive interested parties away than promote the game.[1]
