Native American magic is a term used to describe the type of magic practised by wizarding members of the indigenous peoples of the North American continent. Contrary to their European brethren, they primarily used magic wandlessly and are renowned for their proficiency with plant and animal magic. Additionally, the art of potion-making has reached a higher degree of complexity and sophistication than in European countries.[1]
History
Ilvermorny students from the Wampanoag and Narragansett tribes shared their knowledge of Native American magic in return for being taught the techniques of wandwork. Therefore, Native American became involved in the foundations of Ilvermorny.[2]
