The New York City Subway is the primary No-Maj underground public transportation network for New York, having been operated since 1904. In 1926, the network was operated by two companies, the Interborough Rapid Transit (IRT) and the Brooklyn Metropolitan Transit (BMT).[1]

The Obscurial attack ended here in 1926 after MACUSA Auror's almost killed Credence Barebone leaving his last amount of himself to flow away.
Auror Percival Graves was known to have visited City Hall Station in Lower Manhattan.[2]

- The station seen in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer is City Hall Station on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line, which was closed on 31 December, 1945. Today, the station is used as a switching loop by the 6 Train.
