This book was located within the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts Castle in the 1890–1891 school year. It had the magical power to transport the reader into a story resembling The Tale of the Three Brothers, where the reader acquired the power of the Cloak of Invisibility, Elder Wand, and Resurrection Stone, while witnessing Death take over a village, as well as Fitzgerald's own funeral.[1]
History[]
The book was accessed by an unidentified 19th-century Hogwarts student as part of one of their trials to prove themselves worthy of becoming a Keeper of the secret of ancient magic. In there, they had to defeat fictional entities obeying to Death: Shadows, Mongrels, and Trolls; and encountered Death itself.[1]
