Nora Treadwell was a witch who lived in the 19th century. She was an archaeologist and Merlin historian who studied the Trials of Merlin.[1]
Biography[]
In her youth, she attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where her interest in the medieval wizard Merlin began. She met her future wife, Priya, at Hogwarts, and they eventually married. Priya gave her a book about Merlin, whose legacy she had been following and about whom she had written several books.[3]
In the late 19th century, the two resided at the Three Broomsticks Inn while she conducted an expedition involving a major discovery, the Trials of Merlin, left behind around the Scottish Highlands, and completed her book on Merlin's schooldays.[1]
During the 1890–1891 school year, she enlisted the aid of a new fifth-year in her studies and helped fight off Ashwinders attempting to abduct the student.[3]
