The Norman conquest was the invasion and occupation of England in the year 1066 by an army of Norman soldiers lead by Duke William II of Normandy (later known as William the Conquerer).[1][2]
History[]
A wizard named Armand Malfoy was among the Norman invaders. After William was crowned king, Armand was rewarded for the "unknown, shady (and almost certainly magical)" services he provided him with a piece of land in Wiltshire. His descendants would go on to live on this estate for the next ten centuries.[2]
