The North Tower, also known as the Divination Tower, was one of the many towers at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, connected to the rest of the castle by the Divination corridor. This tower was the location of the Divination Classroom and the Divination professor, Professor Sybill Trelawney's office. Sir Cadogan's portrait was hung somewhere in the tower. The Divination Stairwell was located in this tower.

Class 104, where Xylomancy and first-year Defence Against the Dark Arts was taught, was also located in this tower.

Behind the scenes

• In the films, the North Tower is the tower to the right of the Clock Tower at one corner of The Quad.
• The Divination staircase is located on the seventh floor corridor leading off from the Grand Staircase in the video game adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This means the tower is located in one of the two other towers surrounding The Quad (excluding the Gryffindor Tower). Hence, it is presumed that it is this tower that represents the North Tower.
• In the films, the set used for the spiral staircase that leads up to the Divination Classroom, is also used for the Defence Against the Dark Arts Staircase in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
• In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7, the North Tower has a courtyard.
• In Hogwarts Legacy, a self extending ladder allows access.
