On the night of 25 October in the early 2010s, a strange incident involving the Knight Bus took place in Northampton. Driver Ernie Prang stopped the bus after seeing a shiny pumpkin in the road. After resuming their journey, hundreds of pumpkins appeared bouncing behind the bus, vanishing as they approached Northampton. Upon arrival, it was reported that all passengers had mysteriously disappeared, with each bed on the bus occupied only by a single pumpkin.[2]
