Obscuro is the incantation of a charm used to conjure a blindfold over the eyes of the victim, therefore obstructing their view of their surroundings.[1]

Known uses

In October of 1997, Hermione Granger used this spell to prevent the Portrait of Phineas Nigellus Black from viewing the location of her, Ron Weasley and Harry Potter in the Forest of Dean.[1]

Harry Potter used this spell while duelling Draco Malfoy in September, 2020.[3]
